Description
This course is an intensive exploration of the European enlightenment of the 17th and 18th centuries. Students will explore the ?birth of the modern mind? that characterized the Enlightenment. Thinkers such as Descartes, Newton, Locke, Rousseau and Voltaire will be considered; these thinkers profoundly impacted the history of America and the world.
Credit, three semester hours. Offered as needed.
