Description
Prerequisite: Social Work 201; Econ 200; Hist 101 or 102; PoSc 201; Soc 201. Corequisite: Social Work 311 or non-majors may be admitted with permission of instructor. Study of social welfare programs and policies in American society and current issues affecting the social welfare system. Emphasis is placed on how societal values, economic factors, and political climate affect service delivery.
