Description
Prerequisites: Social Work 323. This course is designed to present a variety of topics important to all fields of practice in the social work profession.
These topics include, crisis intervention, mental health, mental retardation, juvenile delinquency, family violence, substance abuse, and aging. Specific attention will be directed toward assessment, planning and intervention with persons from special populations and diverse backgrounds.
Three hours a week. Credit, three semester hours. Offered fall semester.
